Everyone deserves access to homeownership. The Portland Housing Center makes it possible through quality education, counseling and financial services.

Memberships and Certifications

National

• We are a Charter Member of the NeighborWorks Network, a select group of over 240 non-profit organizations serving urban and rural communities across the country. The NeighborWorks Network is part of NeighborWorks America, a national non-profit created by Congress with a direct appropriation of federal funds.
• A NeighborWorks HomeOwnership Center, the Portland Housing Center is certified by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development as both a HUD Certified Counseling Agency and a HUD Certified Non-Profit Provider of Secondary Financing.
• The U.S. Department of Treasury certified the Portland Housing Center as a Community Development Financial Institution and awarded it a core award of $1.470 million for lending.
